This tape begins with Jimi talking about the Liberty Bell. Then Mitch starts the drum intro to "Sgt. Pepper's....". Immediately upon finishing the Beatles tune,Jimi starts "Johnny B. Goode". This is one of Jimi's few live versions of the Chuck Berry classic.

During the intro to "Machine Gun" Jimi mentions the American Revolution in "its third and last phase". This 11 minute version hits some very high points.

"Hear My Train A Comin'" is introduced as "Gettin' My Heart Back Together". This version includes a bit of "Midnight Lightning" lyrics. The song seems to end after about about 6 minutes, but it may just be cut on the tape. "Purple Haze" starts immediately upon the apparent end of "Hear My Train A Comin'". The end of "Purple Haze" bleeds right into the start of "Voodoo Child (Slight Return)".

This is an enjoyable above average audience tape.
