Portland,OR/September 9,1968

introduction/tuning
"Are You Experienced"
"Fire"
"Hey Joe"
"Foxy Lady"
"Voodoo Child (Slight Return)"
"Little Wing"
"Spanish Castle Magic"
"Red House"
"Star Spangled Banner"/"Purple Haze"

time-60:08

The MC yells "THE JIMI HENDRIX EXPERIENCE!" to start off the night. After a couple minutes of tuning the JHE starts off  "Are You Experienced" with a tease of "Tomorrow Never Knows". At the 4:15 mark "AYE" dissolves into a fairly short drum solo.

"Fire" is introduced as "Let Me Stand Next to Your Old Lady". "Hey Joe" is performed without the extended intro piece.

"Voodoo Child (Slight Return)" is introduced as "a very straight song". "Spanish Castle Magic" stretches out a little bit to around 7:30.

"Red House" is introduced as being from 1735 and lasts a little over 10 minutes. The JHE closes this show with the "Star Spangled Banner" and "Purple Haze". Sadly the power in the auditorium cuts out during the last bit of "Purple Haze". The MC mumbles a couple words before the tape stops.

This is an average sounding audience recording.
