1st show
After a 3 minute tuning segment the JHE heads into "Come On (pt.1)". Noel thanks the crowd in German afterward. Jimi introduces "Hey Joe" as having been recorded in 1733 at the Benjamin Franklin Studios.
"Hear My Train A Comin'" is fairly compact yet intense. Mitch jumps into "Spanish Castle Magic" with a solo around the 6:00 mark.
Rare for a January 1969 show, "Stone Free" shows up later in the set. The JHE plays a stand-alone version of "Purple Haze" to end this show.
2nd show
The JHE tunes up for about 1:45 before Jimi begins "Are You Experienced". The song is brought down to absolute silence before Mitch provides a solo.
Next up is "Fire" and "Lover Man" before "Sunshine of Your Love" finishes off this recording.
This is a very good performance, and the quality of the audience recording is above average.
