The tape begins with "Summertime Blues" (the only one he probably ever played) already in progress. Sound quality is rough on this one. This one is for Hendrix completists. For some reason,only parts of the songs are recorded. It almost feels like the taper wanted to make a "sampler" of the show.
Before "Red House" Jimi mentions "tune-up time". This version (what remains of it) stays pretty close to the studio arrangement.
Jimi mentions "M-16 machine guns" in his spoken introduction to "Purple Haze". In fact he does quite a bit of talking leading up to the song.
This tape makes for some rough and frustrating listening.
